Erica Johnson has worked in the District Attorney’s Office for over 6 years
and has always served as the Victim / Witness Coordinator. She is a graduate
of Montrose High School, and lives in Liberty Township with her husband, Nick,
and their son. Erica is responsible for ensuring that crime victims are
afforded the rights and privileges guaranteed to them under state law,
including notice of all proceedings, input in the form of impact at the time
of sentencing, assisting in compiling restitution claims, coordinating travel
and lodging accommodations for victims and witnesses, accompanying victims to
hearings to assist them, providing referrals to victims for counseling or
other services, and assisting victims with benefit programs specifically
designed to aid crime victims. Erica also writes the grant application to the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which provides state grant monies to fund her
position.
